ASKO was founded in Pittsburgh, PA, during the Great Depression, in 1933. Through the ensuing decades, ASKO has grown to become the global leader in knives for the metal working industry.

We manufacture a wide range of knives, blades, liners, wear plates and accessories for the metals producing, processing and recycling industries. We combine expertise in applications engineering with an unmatched depth and breadth of knowledge and experience related to material section and manufacturing.

Rolling mill rolls and selected wear products are provided from selected distinguished strategic partners. ASKO’s team sells and supports these products as it does its own. ASKO is the one-stop shop for mill, metal processor, and scrap recyclers tooling needs.
